And now it is World Bindi Day that was celebrated this Navratri. Karmanye Kreations is a US based media conglomerate and an initiative by a few NRIs with an objective dedicated to producing content on the culture and history of Indic civilization has come out with a music video about the importance of the Bindi.

The video featuring Dr Sonal Mansingh,  Mata Rajyalaxmi, Malini Awasthi, Aroona Bhatt, Anusha Srinivasan Iyer, Simran Kaur Mundi, Manjari Phadnis, Nyra Bannerjee, Ragini Dwivedi, Anchal Dwivedi, Kainaat Arora, Shibani Kashyap, Nivedita Basu, among others was put recently on the social media during Navratri. The Bindi Song has been sung by Shweta Pandit, Composed by Hriday Gattani with Lyrics by Shivangi Tewari. The video is produced by Karmanye Kreations and Shilpi Shrivastav with Music on Advait Music featuring women from various walks of life.

“The video will give a global appeal to all the women around the world to wear Bindi with pride as a mark of women empowerment. A letter to officially designate a World Bindi Day has been sent to the United Nations by WorldBindiDay.org. World Bindi Day concept was conceived by few NRIs last year, when it was decided that the pious day for this beautiful concept should be the start of Navratri, which emphasizes women empowerment and their importance in the society. Hence the first day of Navratri was formalized as World Bindi Day. To make it a global initiative and spread the word among millions of women around the globe, the idea to compose a music video was conceived by Karmanye Kreations, US. The song and the video were thus made to share with the world the significance of putting up a Bindi as a mark of each woman’s pride and a symbol of women empowerment,” says Anannt Srivastava of Karmanye Creations.

“A new Bindi song will be released next year too. Next year’s plan is to reach out to celebrities, social workers, eminent personalities from around the globe to support this initiative and also appear in the video,” adds Annant.

“I was attracted to the concept of coming up with a song. The song will show how the Bindi described the Indian woman. It perfectly explains the reason and pride behind wearing the bindi,” says Shweta who has sung the number.

“I think a woman’s beauty is enhanced by wearing a Bindi. I sometimes wear a Bindi on casual and western wear too. I have noticed it gives me a distinct persona. Other women should try it to see the difference,” says Anchal Dwivedi.

“I wear bindi as it is part of my Indian culture and tradition and I am  truly proud of it. It also activates the third eye – the pituitary gland – which is in the middle of the eyebrows!” says Shibani Kashyap. “My Bindi is the essence of  existence. Without it I am incomplete. It gives me strength and the power to stand up for right and against wrong. The bindi is the sixth chakra point and my third eye to view the world,” elaborates Anusha Srinivasan Iyer.

“The significance of beauty and strength in one bindi … the essence of womanhood culture and pride. I love to wear it each day with each outfit; it only makes the look better and stronger,” opines Ragini Dwivedi.

“My bindi not only enhances my beauty but also reminds me of the divine powers through my third eye. Bindi is the symbol of my Divya Drishti,” says Nyra Banerjee.

Karmanye Kreations is to show the historical aspects of our civilization. Few of the early projects that Karmanye Kreations has undertaken are – Unexplored places of Ayodhya, Kashmir History and History of Indic Civilization and the current effort is an initiative to celebrate various Hindustani Diwas like Bindi Day and Tilak Day and not just international days like Halloween or Valentine’s Day.

The 880th anniversary of the great poet and thinker Nizami Ganjavi will be celebrated in 2021.Today’s event is dedicated to this great poet as ‘love peace and unity through Art and Culture’ is the theme of our festival also,” said Sandeep Marwah President of festival and Chair for Indo Azerbaijan Film and Cultural Forum on the second day of 5th Global Fashion and Design Week at Marwah Studios, Film City Noida addressing to the film, media & fashion fraternity from all over India.

5th Global Fashion And Design Week Added Colors To Life

Noida: “Love, Peace and Unity through art and culture is the theme of 5th Global Fashion Week 2021 and we have tried our best to bring in 52 countries this time on the ramp. The colorful dresses are adding not only the colors of flags but representing flora and fauna of that country,” said Sandeep Marwah President of the festival addressing large gathering anxiously waiting for the global fashion show.

“Fashion is what you’re offered four times a year by designers. And style is what you choose. I think there is beauty in everything. What ‘normal’ people would perceive as not good, I can usually see something of beauty in it. I am already impressed by the quality of work shown by young designers from all over India,” added Sandeep Marwah also President of AAFT School of Fashion and Design.

Designers like Zahwa Akhter presented collection in the second round where the inspiration was from country of  United Kingdom, Prtishtha Prabhat preferred  Sudan, Abhimanyu Sethi  finalized with Kyrgyzstan, Evana Singh also opted forKyrgyzstan, Smiriti Prabhaker desigs were totally influenced by Georgia, Harshit Chetan designs were inclined towardsArmenia, Tarun Kishore opted Hungary, Karishma Madan went for Cambodia, Taripti Narula managed good with Egypt, Rohan looked for Nigeria, Puja Prajapati selected Kazakhstan, Kiran Roy & Sargm Priya chosen Lesotho, Guny Singhal worked for Bahamas, Geetanjali Pokhral loved the works from Slovenia and  Mansi Arya  designed in relation to Iceland. 

Ritu Lal Director AAFT School of Fashion and Design extended her heartiest thanks to everyone present in he auditorium for encouraging young designers. Susi Ganeshan’s Bollywood Film Is Titled DIL HAI GRAY

Director Susi Ganeshan recently finished the shooting of his much-hyped film that stars Vineeth Kumar Singh, Urvashi Rautela and Akshay Oberoi in pivotal roles. The movie is a remake of the Tamil super-hit film ‘Thiruttu Payale 2’.

The film is currently under the post-production stage and the makers announced the title of the movie on the auspicious day of Dassehra. The movie is titled ‘Dil Hai Gray’. The film is likely to be released in mid-December 2021.

The film is backed by ace national award-winning producer M Ramesh Reddy from Bangalore who has also kept the remake rights of this film in Telugu and Karnataka. Reddy is making his entry into Bollywood as a producer under his banner “ Suraj production’ in association with susi ganeshan’ s production house “ 4v entertainment “ .

The movie is a thriller – drama, deals with  hot topic of  phone taping in police department and how a cute family got stuck with an intruder.

We cannot go without mentioning the excellence the Indian music industry has shown over the years by opening doors of incredible opportunities for promising new talent and also for those who could take the industry to new levels of success.   • Ma’am, can you tell us more about this super hit song?

Ghani Cool Chori is the newest track on the list, and the kind of response it is already getting is getting me “Ghani” overwhelmed, I would say. What can I say about this beauty of a song, which has been created with all heart by the one and only Amit Trivedi sir. He is the magician behind it, and all of us team members have put in all the efforts to make it a huge hit. Amit sir explained Taapsee’s character in the film to make me understand the nuances of the song and took me deep into the character. Lyrics by Kausar Munir has added charm to the song, and people are humming it everywhere.

  • Your song “Ghani Cool Chori” has crossed more than 10 Million views within one week; how do you feel about it?

How I wish I could tell you the butterflies inside me fluttering in joy. Well, I can only say that the feeling is wonderful, to say the least. People are making dance covers, reels, etc., on social media, and within a week, has made it a 10 million viewed song. I am ever grateful to Amit sir for giving me this outstanding opportunity and for believing in my potential. It is all the love of my audiences who have made this song a super hit.

  • How were you offered this assignment?

It took many years to sing a song for a musician like Amit Trivedi. I guess he was waiting for the right song for my voice. I am glad he believed in me as a singer and offered me this beautiful track, which is an original composition and has all the ingredients to become a huge hit.

  • Would you call this a Navratri Garba Dance song?

More than only a Navratri Garba song, I would like to call it a Bollywood Garba song because Amit Trivedi sir has put all the elements of a commercial song while also ensuring it has a folk flavour.

  • As the Lead singer of this song which is now a super hit, do you want to talk more about this?

Within a few hours, people had started making reels and dance covers on it, which is truly overwhelming. The way it has been picturized, choreographed, written, sung, composed, everything oozes uniqueness and the ‘cool’ quotient, which is what the song is all about. Taapsee has done outstandingly well in the song with her dance moves, the way she carries her costume and the entire Navaratri look, adding more funk and giving a new style statement.

  • Can you let us know more about any of your Future Assignments?

Yes, I have a new song coming up with Rahul Vaidya called “Garbe ki Raat”, which will be released on 8th October 2021 on Rahul’s YouTube channel. It is a folk-commercial single. Also, I have sung an inspirational and motivational song for Parul University, Gujarat.

  • Any message to your listeners and fans?

I heartily thank my audiences for making Ghani Cool Chori a superhit song, and I also want them to give more importance to original songs. Also, I hope more and more musicians make original tracks.

  • Best memory/ moment while recording this song?

It took many years for me to reach Amit sir’s office. He made me understand the character, the nuances of the song but also gave me the freedom as well as the guidance to ace the song. So, overall I had a fun experience working with him and the entire team.

  • What is being Ghani cool according to you?

As a singer, I have always struck a balance between Hindi and Gujarati, which can be felt in all my songs, and that is “Ghani Cool”, I believe. This is a Bollywood song with a Gujarati touch, which has added more magic to the track. The lyrics, music, picturization, everything is relevant to the current times, which makes the song even cooler.

5th Global Fashion And Design Week Started With Pomp And Show

We are proud to announce that ICMEI together with AAFT School of Fashion and Design are going to present 700 garments designed by 200 designers influenced by the culture of 52 different countries of the World in 90 rounds showcased in 8 shows in three days. This is one of the biggest collections we are displaying here after pandemic,” said Sandeep Marwah President of International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry on the inauguration of 5th Global Fashion and Design Week Noida 2021.

“Sandeep Marwah is the biggest show man be it a cinema, journalism, literature or Fashion and design. He is the real cultural ambassador. I am happy that Montenegro is also part of this great festival. The creativity which I have seen here is no less than any international beauty pageant. I wish you all a big success in your venture and I am sure some great results will be out after this grand show,” said Dr. Janice Darbari Consulate General of Montenegro in India while lighting the inaugural lamp.

Sixteen rounds were presented in the first major inaugural show. The audience was astonished to see the colorful collection by young designers. Every garment was so exclusive and extra ordinary prepared well fitted to the professional models from fashion fraternity.

The first show were presented by designers  Ruchi Aggrawal  influenced by the flora and fauna of Ghana, Shayna from Montenegro, Mukesh Kumar also from Montenegro, Saniya Gupta selected Israel , Ayushi Sharma opted  Lebanon, Akshay Raj Ratan  finalized for Bosnia and Herzegovina, Shefali Srivatava also looked for Bosnia and Herzegovina, Rishav Kumar Ram preferred United Kingdom, Satyam Raj & Rahul Vdhara only thought of Afghanistan, Dilshad designed for  Uzbekistan, Anamika thought of  Rwanda, Pushpendra designed for Fiji, Ayushi Mehrotra was allotted Bulgaria, Mansi Saluja managed well with Gambia, Neha Shishodia influenced by  Maldives and Swastika Talwar also looked for Israel.

इन दिनों देश के किसान कई प्रकार की समस्याओं से जूझ रहे हैं और ऐसे में बिहार के किसान का बेटा भोजपुरी स्टार ख़ेसारी लाल यादव किसानों की समस्या पर आधारित भोजपुरी फिल्म ‘लिट्टी चोखा’ दुर्गा पूजा पर दर्शकों के बीच सिनेमाघरों में लेकर आए हैं। फ़िल्म को सिनेमाघरों में बम्पर ओपनिंग मिली है और थिएटर में दर्शकों की भारी भीड़ देखी जा रही है। यह फिल्म देखने के लिए दर्शकों का ताता सिनेमा हॉल पर लगा हुआ दिखा।

इस फ़िल्म का इंतजार बेसब्री से खेसारी लाल यादव के फैन्स कर रहे थे इसलिए जैसे ही यह सिनेमाघरों में रिलीज हुई दर्शक इसे देखने के लिए थेटर्स में टूट पड़े। सिनेमाघरों के बाहर ऑडिएंस की लंबी लाइन देखी गई। और इस कोरोना काल मे खेसारी लाल यादव की इस फ़िल्म को इस तरह के प्रतिसाद मिलने से निर्माता निर्देशक और इंडस्ट्री में खुशी की लहर छा गई है।

‘लिट्टी चोखा’ का निर्माण बाबा मोशन पिक्चर्स प्रा.लि. के बैनर तले किया गया है। केन्द्रीय भूमिका में खेसारीलाल यादव और काजल राघवानी हैं। उनकी केमेस्ट्री और देसी अवतार दर्शकों को खूब लुभा रही है।

फिल्म ‘लिट्टी चोखा’ के निर्माता प्रदीप के शर्मा ने बताया कि दुर्गा पूजा के अवसर पर दर्शकों को यह फिल्म हमारी तरफ से एक तोहफा है। ‘लिट्टी चोखा’ देश की कहानी को कहने वाली फिल्म है। कहते हैं ना आज भी देश की आत्मा गांवों में बसती है। ऐसे में हमने इसकी कहानी गाँव से निकालकर लाई है, और यही वजह है कि दर्शक इसे खूब पसंद कर रहे हैं।

हिट मशीन व भोजपुरी के रजनीकान्त कहे जाने वाले ख़ेसारी लाल यादव ने कहा कि मैं एक किसान का बेटा हूँ। मेरे घर में आज भी किसानी की जाती है और समय निकालकर मैं भी खेती में हाथ बटाता हूँ। मैंने अपनी रोजी रोटी के लिए दिल्ली में लिट्टी चोखा भी बेचा है। इसलिए यह फ़िल्म और किसान की समस्या मेरे दिल के करीब है। फिल्म के निर्माता प्रदीप के शर्मा जी को तहेदिल से धन्यवाद ऐसी फिल्म का निर्माण करने लिए और साथ ही फ़िल्म के निर्देशक पराग पाटिल को भी दिल से धन्यवाद एक बेहतरीन फ़िल्म का डायरेक्शन करने लिए। दर्शकों का भी शुक्रिया कि आप सब अपने नजदीकी सिनेमाघरों में पूरे परिवार के साथ जाकर फ़िल्म लिट्टी चोखा का आनन्द ले रहे हैं।

लिट्टी चोखा’ फिल्म के निर्देशक पराग पाटिल ने बताया कि ‘लिट्टी चोखा’ उत्तर प्रदेश, बिहार और झारखंड में बम्पर ओपनिंग के साथ रिलीज हुई है। उन्होंने इस फिल्म को बड़ी खूबसूरती से बड़े पर्दे पर उतारने की सफल कोशिश की है। फिल्म के बारे में बताते हुए पराग ने कहा कि लोग जब फिल्म देख रहे हैं तो इसे उम्मीद से कहीं ज्यादा पा रहे हैं। हमने हर पहलू पर बारीकी से काम किया है। फिल्म बेहद सहज और सरल है, इसलिए मेरी अपील होगी कि आप पूरे परिवार के साथ जाकर फ़िल्म देखें।

फिल्म लिट्टी चोखा में खेसारीलाल यादव और काजल राघवानी के साथ मनोज सिंह टाइगर, पदम सिंह, श्रुति राव, प्रीति सिंह, देव सिंह, प्रकाश जैस, करण पांडेय, उत्कर्ष, यादवेन्द्र यादव जैसे एक्टर भी धमाल मचा रहे हैं। फिल्म के लेखक राकेश त्रिपाठी हैं। सह निर्माता अनीता शर्मा और पदम सिंह हैं। फिल्म में सुमधुर संगीत ओम झा व मधुकर आनंद का है।
