Parisar Asha is a 33 year non-profit registered public trust committed to serve children through a unique learning approach ‘ESAL’- The Environmental Studies Approach to Learning conducted film making workshopwith the generous sponsorship by Ms.Ina Arora of D’Decor and the support of BMC; to teach the talented underprivileged children of Koldongri BMC School, Nityanand Marg MPS, the art of FILM MAKING.
This is a 10 day workshop which will be conducted by industry experts to teach the children different aspects of film making which commenced right from choosing the topic by the children, Script writing, Screenplay, Camera manoeuvring, Direction, Acting and Editing, culminating into the creation of 5 beautiful short films which will be screened globally.
This is a conscious effort of Parisar Asha to help the young minds to grow as an individual and become responsible and sensitive change makers by tapping the strong medium of film making. The students also underwent a practical sessions conducted by actor Rohit Pathak, who has acted in films such as Once Upon a Time in Mumbai,filmmaker Kunal Singh, actor and dubbing artist Mr.Shakti Singh, Advertising guru Ms. Moushumi Mukherjee and many more.

30 children who showed keen interest for this workshop were chosen and were divided in small groups. The workshop culminated into the creation of 5 beautiful films  ‘made by the children for the children’ which will be screened in the month of Jan’17 in Parisar Asha’s annual event. On this occasion Ms. Aarati Savur, reiterated that , ‘ this workshop is an attempt to pave the path for aspiring young minds who want to make a career in the film  making and help them grow as an individual and become responsible and sensitive change makers of our nation. “
